Access the Department Bulk Assign Tool
To access the Departments feature in BackOffice:
- Log into your BackOffice account.
- In the left side menu, click on Items.
- Click on the Departments tab.
- Click the Bulk Assign Items button next to the "Create Department" button to open the bulk assignment interface (popup modal).
Select a Department and Choose Items to Assign
Choose the department you want to assign items to:
- In the bulk assignment interface, find the department dropdown list.
- Click on the dropdown and select the desired department from the list.
Next, select the items you want to assign to the chosen department:
- Browse through the list of items displayed.
- Check the boxes next to the items you want to assign to the department.
Filtering Options
To make item selection easier, you can use these filtering options:
- Toggle Show unassigned items to display only items not currently assigned to any department.
- Use the Category filter to narrow down the results by specific item categories.
Complete Bulk Assignment
After selecting all desired items:
- Review your selections to ensure accuracy.
- Click the Assign Items button at the bottom of the interface.
