Employee Breaks and Overtime Settings are managed in the Timecards section of the BackOffice (Settings > Timecards in the left-side navigation menu). Listed below is a summary of each module.
Employee Breaks
Employee Breaks allow operators to track and record the number of paid and unpaid breaks taken. You can add Employee Breaks from the Settings > Timecards module in the BackOffice. Employee Breaks appear in the Register when an employee clocks in and out. Please reference the following knowledge base articles for more information on the related topic:

Overtime Guidelines
Per the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), covered nonexempt employees must receive overtime (OT) pay for all hours worked over 40 in a workweek at a rate not less than time and one-half their regular pay rate. See the complete guidelines by visiting the Department of Labor's Overtime Pay page, or click here to find information on exempt employees.
