Accessing Register Settings
To access the Register Settings feature in Register:
- Log into the Register
- Tap the hamburger menu icon in the top-left corner to access the flyout menu.
- Tap Settings to access the Register Settings interface.
Overview of Setting Categories
The Register Settings interface includes several categories, each accessible via the left-side menu:
- Appearance
- Functionality
- Payments
- Receipts
- Drawers
Appearance Settings
Customize how your Register looks and operates:

Category menu location:
- Choose between the top or left placement of the category menu.
- Left-side: Displays categories in a static vertical column.
- Top: Can be fixed or unfixed.
- Unfixed: Categories are buttons at the top; tap to view full-screen items.
- Fixed: Category buttons are always visible; swipe through categories.
- Column count: Select 4, 5, or 6 columns for items on the Register screen.
- Display customer-facing checkout screen: Enable a screen for customers to view during checkout.
Functionality Settings
Control various operational features:
- Enable Tabs: Allow adding order names to create tabs.
- Manage Customers: Display the Customers tab in the top menu for customer management features.
- Send Button: Display the send button at the bottom of the cart for sending orders to the kitchen or saving tabs.

Auto Log Out options:
- After Each Transaction. Enabling this option automatically logs the user out once an order is completed (paid).
- After Send/Save. Enabling this option automatically logs the user out once an order is sent (to the kitchen) or saved.
- User Idle Time (30 sec, 1 min, 5 min, 10 min, or none). Specify the amount of time before the system automatically logs out the user. The default value is none, meaning the system does not automatically log out the user.
- Till Quantity Selector: Add a quantity selector bar at the bottom of the Register screen.
Payment Settings
Manage accepted payment types and tip collection:
- Set whether you want the system to prompt for an order name or customer on each order.
- Set whether to collect non-cash tips from customers on credit card transactions.
- Enable or disable:
- Checks. Add the ability to accept checks.
- House Accounts. The House Account options allow users to charge orders to House Accounts.
- Gift Cards. This setting adds Gift Card functionality to the Register, including loading and redeeming gift cards.
Receipt Settings
Customize how receipts are printed and displayed:

General Receipt Options:
- Print itemized receipts
- Print order number on receipts
- Display suggested tip amounts on receipts
- Exclude printers: Use dropdown to select printers to exclude
- Print receipt on completed transactions: Choose always, prompt, or never
- Specify the number of receipts printed

Cash Payment Receipt Options (overrides general receipt options):
- Print receipt on completed cash payment transactions: Choose always, prompt, or never

Card Payment Receipt Options (overrides general receipt options):
- Print receipt on completed card payment transactions: Choose always, prompt, or never

Kitchen Receipts:
- Specify the kitchen receipt font size: Choose small, medium, or large font
- Include employee name on kitchen receipt
- Specify the number of kitchen receipts printed
- Allow zero-quantity items
Drawer Settings
Control cash drawer operations:
- Sync Orders Between Drawers: View orders for all open drawers.
- Multiple Drawers: Enable opening and switching between multiple drawers simultaneously.

Turn on Blind Drop:
- When enabled, employees submit drawer counts without knowing the expected amount.
- Managers can compare submitted counts with expected amounts.
- Managers must complete any required adjustments.
